Performance Improvement of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells with Pressed TiO2 Nanoparticles Layer

A simple and low-cost fabrication method of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) was developed to improve the structure performance photoanode with pressed layer compact TiO2 thin film using spin coating, screen printing, mechanical compression. In this study, four different layers were adopted fabricate photoanodes: a mesoporous nanoparticles (NPs) layer, NPs on film, film. The deposited fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass via while screen-printing method. produced by compressing hydraulic press machine. When for DSSC, power conversion efficiency DSSC enhanced most. electron lifetime photoanodes based 8.217 6.287 ms, respectively. 5.4%, that 4.08%. showed significant increase in 36.16% compared layer.
